In celebration of the contribution of blacks in science and technology, here are just a few short synopses of BLACK INVENTORS OF THE PAST , preceded by a short introduction and photo of myself.

For more information, try the San Diego State National Society of Black Engineers (S.D.N.S.B.E.) link.

PLUS, check out BLACKFACTS , which come from J.A. Roger's 100 Amazing Facts About The Negro, With Complete Proof, written in 1957.

"Bring Back Amos 'n Andy.... PLEASE?" is an editorial written in 1994 focusing on the media's imagery regarding blacks in America and throughout the world. Lots of pictures, so be patient while it loads up.

Additional information on the history of the Amos 'n Andy TV series.

"The Father of Rock 'n Roll." That's what RCA called Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup , because he was credited with having been the first to put a "beat" to the blues. One of Elvis Presley 's first recordings, "That's Alright, Mama," was written by him. And, yes! He was my cousin! This link has had some problems of late, so please be patient.
