Another report dated Sept. 3, 1937, shows us that a total of 70 M1 Garands have been built and shipped.

A file of some interest dated Feb. 18, 1938. It shows us how many M1 Garands have been built to date. It also shows us parts on hand for future production.

This file shows us a complete breakdown of what is being done to the M1's while in production. It also states that as of Feb. 17, 1938, a total of 1590 M1 Garands have been built.
