The Keystone Firearms Coalition is the hardline, pro-gun grassroots coalition in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. KFC is comprised of several major organizations within the state. Legislators recognize us. They don't like us, but they are aware of our presence.

KFC's primary concern at present is repealing the gun control measures enacted into law by Act 17 of 1995. Although this act did three good things, namely, forcing Philadelphia to conform to the rest of the state regarding issuance of licenses to carry firearms, recognizing licenses to carry as exemptions to the waiting period for handgun purchases, and allowing dealers to do business with each other at gun shows, the act also piled on a host of new restrictions, including what Sarah Brady called ``the most comprehensive list of restrictions upon who may own or carry guns in the nation.'' It was a very odd circumstance that both NRA-ILA and HCI praised this bill! In fact, then state liaison for ILA, Alan Krug, admitted to having written most of the bill. It was KFC's pressure upon ILA which largely resulted in the closing of Krug's Pennsylvania office, spiriting him away to Fairfax where we hope he is in less of a position to further erode the Constitutional rights of Pennsylvanians (see below).

The Keystone Firearms Coalition receives mail and FAXes at its legislative office, which is located at:
