CITIZENSHIP

THE CONSTITUTION OF THE PEOPLE - CITIZENSHIP

VI. Citizenship

Article 37

An individual's citizenship within Morovia shall be determined by a majority vote of the Assembly. A Member of the Assembly must nominate the individual before such a vote is taken. Upon a majority approval, and the Kings consent, the individual shall become a lawful and full citizen of Morovia.

Article 38 [Expulsion]

The rights and citizenship of a citizen shall be revoked according to the results of a public referendum in which the general public votes yes or no as to if the citizen in question should lose his citizenship. If two-thirds of the public feel that the citizen should lose his citizenship, and the King consents, then that individual shall no longer be a citizen.

Article 39 [Resignation of Rights]

If and when a citizen resigns his rights of citizenship to leave Morovia, he shall be permitted to do so. But if he wishes to re-apply within one month, a Member of the Assembly must nominate him, and the Assembly shall vote upon the question of citizenship. Upon a two-thirds approval, and the consent of the King, the individual shall become a lawful and full citizen of Morovia.
