My 1969 Grand Prix

By: Charles E. Giannetta

This website features my 69 Pontiac Grand Prix

from the beginning, through its restoration process,

to its inaugural run in August, 2001

32 Years Later

This magnificient, powerful, gas hungry beast

was painstakingly restored, after sitting outside for 15 years

at my parents house in Klecknersville, Pennsylvania.

During those years, her future was uncertain

but never had the heart to take her to the yard.

Now she has been brought back to life!

Thrill to all the excitement of her return to the open roads in Pennsylvania.

My 69 Grand Prix was originally shipped from Pontiac, Michigan

and arrived in Catasaqua, Pennsylvania on 2/12/69.

She was then purchased on March 4th, 1969 for $3463.97.

1980, 11 years later, she became mine!

She is a Model "J", with a 400 cu. in. 350 horsepower V8 Motor

along with a 3 speed Manual Synchromesh Transmission

making her 1 of 277 produced with this option combination.

She has been restored to the original color, top, and interior of

Antique Gold with a Black Cordova Top, and Black Teardrop Cloth interior.

Options which are included

1. Black Cordova Top

2. Black Teardrop Cloth interior.
