Today I managed to hook up my auxillary gauges. An oil and water temperature gauge. Also installed the new temperature sending unit for the telltale lamp and mounted the new horn relay to the firewall. I forgot what it was like to work under that dash. I now have to get the radiator support ready to be put back on.

A lot of you may be wondering where I got to and what's happening with me. Mid September I had to put MY 15 year old cat to sleep. He became ill with kidney failure. A week later I had to do other work which included closing my swimming pool for the winter.

To make a long story short, my one 5 year old decided the pool needed to be drained. He had the hand skimmer by the screen part and made 4 nice holes, with the handle, on the bottom of my liner. I had to get in 65'F water for about 45 minutes to seal the leaks. Needless to say a few days later, on Friday, I had to call in sick. There went another weekend!!!!!!!

The following weekend, My 486 Computer decided to die. Had to reload on a new computer. One week later, that NEW computer died. I had to return it. This is now my 2nd NEW computer, fully reloaded. MY 69 Grand Prix had to take to the "back burner" again.

In the meantime of all that mess, I bought a rebuilt 4 barrel carburator for the GP. It is rebuilt by Holly. It looks great. Also was able to get my radiator support ready for the final painting to then be installed.

Today, I talked with the guy at the body shop, that has my front fenders, and it looks like my 69 Grand Prix will be hitting his shop by the end of November. Wish me luck. He said I could go over on Saturdays if I wanted to do any of the work myself to cut down on his labor and also to help him in the reassembly of the parts. I said "NO PROBLEM" that would be great!!!! At this time I am going to wait for his call to bring it over on a flatbed.
