Today, I was able to get my hood and front headlight bezels, to the shop. Brought along the speaker templates and cut the rear deck to accomodate a pair of Alpine 6" x 9" coaxial speakers, along with the 8" subwoofer. Since the rear window is out, cutting the sheet metal was a snap.. Later, I spent some time cleaning chrome moldings, that house the window seal, for both doors. All the chrome is off the car and now it needs to be cleaned and polished.

They now have the rear deck lid ready for primer and final sanding. The passenger door is now also completed with primer.

The passenger front fender is now next in line for fabrication work.

My hood is now at another shop getting bead blasted. Fabrication work has started now on the passenger fender and the deck lid is nearing completion. I now have another shop lined up to do the headliner.

Just received my Headliner from AMES. It is an exact reproduction. It included the rear side pieces, with the material on, plus additional material to do the sun visors. The style I have, is a black perforated.

Stopped by the shop again today. BOTH fenders are now totally finished with the sheet metal fabrication work. The old rust was cut out, and all new metal is welded in place. They are now ready to be prepped and primered.

The deck lid is now also completly primered.
