This morning, I awaited for the flatbed truck again. This time to get my new Headliner installed. After getting my car to the shop, I drove it into their garage, with open headers. Sounded GREAT!!

The New headliner, I purchased from AMES Performance, is now installed. They did an excellent job. Awaited the flatbed again, this morning, to get my car back to my house.

This evening, I managed to cut the speaker holes out in my new rear package tray. Started to mount the two 6" x 9" Alpine Coaxial Speakers and one JBL 8" subwoofer. I had to quit around 9pm. I got overbourdened by moths!! They love my 720 watts of fluorescent power in my garage!!

Spent the rest of the day mounting the speakers and wiring in my Alpine Amp. I mounted it inside the trunk against the rear seat support. I think the longest speaker wire is 1 1/2ft. Still have to mount the Kenwood AM/FM CD player in the dash, but that didn't stop me from hooking it up, temporarily, to hear some tunes! I also was able to get the clips mounted for the front and rear window trim. Listened to music the rest of the night!! Had a Beer!!

Just received my front headlight Harness, from AMES Performance, and installed. It was a perfect plug in. This harness came with the cornering light wires, which I do not have. I may use these wires for something later!

I decided to use the sail panel louvers I purchased from Ames, even though the spacing is not correct. I measured the new ones to be a 1/2" narrower in pin spacing along with a .041 offset. I made a template and then drilled 10 new holes on each side. Very fortunately I was able to cover over the old holes. I filled them in with black silicon sealer. They do look good!

I also managed to clean and buff my rear view mirror and bracket and then mounted the mirror. I then mounted my new sunvisors and arm supports from Ames.

Today, I did a lot of media blasting. The rear seat metal sides, front headlight rear supports, which included the springs and retainers, the front plastic grill surrounds, the actual grills, the windshield wiper control arms, and the rear window molding, and some other small misc. stuff.

I wasn't sure about doing the actual grills. When I got the car, they were painted black. I thought this was something done by an owner, but after looking at them closely, this looks like it was done by Pontiac. I will be painting them black. I think this looks sharper sitting in the aluminum painted plastic supports inside that huge Chrome bumper!

Just picked up my two 15" x 8" Rally II wheels at Performance Years. The box says Wheel Vintiques. They are out of Fresno, CA. I will be mounting these in the rear with the BFGoodrich 275/60R15's. They are 28" in diameter. That should set the car off nice with the 245/60R14's up front.
