This morning was a bit of a rush!! I got a call from Bob (Discount Auto Parts in Bethlehem, Pa.), and he said the guy was on his way out to install my front and rear window.

I managed to get the three chrome pieces buffed that go around the front windshield, before he got to my house. Happy to say, another Bob, from Bob's Auto Glass in Fountainhill, Pa., did an Excellent job installing my front and rear windows. Very professional work. I had purchased a new front windshield, and I cleaned the rear window with steel wool. The steel wool does an excellent job, and doesn't scratch the window. Learn something new everyday!!

Later, I was able to get the underside of my hood painted chassis black. After the paint dried pretty good, I then installed the new underhood insulation, with new clips. Then I mounted the hood springs onto the fender/cowl area.

Today, I buffed the large bottom piece of trim for the front winshield. I installed the new rubber hoses for the windshield wiper washer pump. Connected the antenna cable and the mounted the bottom windshield trim. I then put on new Hood to Windshield side frame rubber pads.

It was a beautiful day here in the Northeast Pa. Bob, from the shop, stopped by today.

These are pictures of Bob's current project. It is a Slightly Modified 1940 Ford Pickup. He is currently working on the bed.

He stopped by, to help me and a neighbor, install that MASSIVE '69 Grand Prix hood!! My neighbor, is currently working on a '61 Chevy Corvair.

My wife and I, took about an hour to get the hood lined up. Then my wife and I cleaned out the other bay in the garage. Her side!! My wife's '87 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham now sits along side my '69 Grand Prix. Believe it or not, her car is ONLY 14.5" longer than my 69GP!!
