A lot of people have e-mailed me wanting to see a picture of me. WELL, here it is.
This is a typical day of how I look working on my 69, prior to my haircut and a long awaited shower, and then to get something to eat.
PLEASE, excuse the MESS! I am working on it!!!

I spent much of the day sandblasting the tranny, bell housing, intake
manifold, and some other misc. parts. Took off the harmonic balancer,
water pump, valley pan, timing chain cover, and fuel pump. That motor
still looks like it never stopped running. The entire timing chain still
had oil on it. The same for the heads and lifters. I noticed the balancer
has a slight groove where the oil seal goes and it was spinning out some
oil, so I'm going to get that machined smooth.

Today was a pretty good day. I managed to clean off all the gasket material
from the motor. Flushed out the motor with kerosene and cleaned the oil pan.

Spent today cleaning, prepping, and then painted the oil pan, intake manifold,
valley pan, timing chain cover and oil filter housing. Cleaned up the motor
some more and installed the oil pan and the valley pan.

Today I cleaned all the motor bolts. Installed the intake manifold, timing
chain cover, water pump, oil filter housing, and the fuel pump. Washed
down the entire motor and painted it Pontiac Metallic Blue.

Called it a day and spent the remainder of Fathers Day with my 5 year old twin boys washing 4 pair of my greased up pants and 5 T-shirts in a big galvanized pan. My kids really had a blast. Meanwhile, my wife was cooking up a great Fathers Day Dinner and then we had a Fathers Day Chocolate cake.
