This is a slightly fuzzy image of my Colt M1908 pocket pistol. It is chambered for .25 ACP and has a magazine capacity of six rounds. It is striker fired, which means that there is no hammer. The firing pin is spring loaded and when the trigger is pulled the firing pin is released. There are two safety devices: a catch on the left side of the frame which locks the striker and a lever on the back of the grip which locks the trigger. The pistol cannot be fired unless it is firmly held in the hand even if the striker blocking safety is "off". The target shows a group fired single-handed at 7 yards.
