This site is intended to provide genealogy information for Maxfields, all Maxfields.  Whether you are of my line, descendants of  William Maxfield of Windham, Maine, or are looking for information or connections to other Maxfield lines, you are welcome. 

The Descendants of William Maxfield information has been compiled through the cooperation of several descendants of William Maxfield, they are listed at the end of the connections page.  A brief description and a few pictures of my descent from William Maxfield is provided on the My Line page.

In addition, I have provided an narrative of my ancestors.  The vast majority of these people lived in New England, some arriving on the Mayflower and many soon after.   If you can link in I would be interested in hearing from you.   Actually, I'd be interested in hearing from you anyway.

The Maxfield Connections Page is provided to share data on other Maxfields that we haven't tied into the line yet, or we know are not part of our line, and to provide a list of people who would be interested in connecting with other Maxfields.  I will assist as much as I can, so don't hesitate to contact me.    

The Miscellaneous Info Pages are a collection of Maxfield info that I have stumbled across that might be of some interest to others.  I have provided references wherever possible to this information.  You are welcome to send me similar information and I will post it as time permits.       Enjoy.
