  Noted events in his life were:

• Notes. In the revolutionary War he was enrolled in the 6th class, 7th company, 3rd battalion (later 6th) from the western portion of Heidelberg Township. His name appears on the various Heidelberg tax lists as owning 125 acres and also a distillery.
Ub the U.S. census of 1790 he was listed in Heidelberg 3-2-7. this large number of children would seem to indicate that most of the Snyders living in the area of Pleasant Corner were his descendants. The following is a probable list (there is no proof for most of them).
