Rockets

This is the first CD Produced by Bob and probably our most diverse yet.

Aside from our usual (Johnny-Ventures, Ed-Leon Redbone and Bob-Beatles) tracks, Johnny performs Roberta Flack’s “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” , Ed performs Bruce Springsteen’s “Jersey Girl” and Bob performs Sarah Mac Lachlan’s “I Love You”.

Leon Redbone’s “Little Grass Shack” is a cute duet with Valerie and Ed and Heidi sings her first leads with Dusty Springfield’s “I only Wanna be with you” and The Beatles’ Mr. Moonlight.

The title song “Rockets” is another Ike’s Road original song written by Bob about a time in Ed and Bob’s youth.

The aerial view background photo on the cover was taken by Bob in 1977 over Brownsville Road in Trevose. If you look closely you can see the Texaco Station as well as Jane's house, Emily's house and Laurie's house.
